Version 3 represented a major milestone, in that we released a free version of the plugin available for download from the WordPress Plugin Repository. As part of this release, we were required to change the plugin name from “BSD WooCommerce Stripe Connect Split Pay” to “BSD Split Pay for Stripe Connect on Woo” to avoid trademark infringement.
We love WordPress, WooCommerce, and Stripe, so we were happy to comply!
Part of this release included a change to the plugin slug. If you are upgrading from version 2.x to version 3.x, you will see the following warning:
Warning: fopen(/home/customer/www/wp.battlestardigital.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/BSD-WOOCOMMERCE-STRIPE-CONNECT-SPLIT-PAY-premium/bsd-woocommerce-stripe-connect-split-pay.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/customer/www/wp.battlestardigital.com/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6111
Don’t worry! The fix is easy.
Simply click Go to Plugins page to be directed to the list of plugins installed on your site. Locate “BSD Split Pay for Stripe Connect on Woo Professional,” then click Activate:
On the next page, you’ll be prompted to enter your license key. Go ahead and paste it in, then click Agree & Activate License:
That’s it! You’re back in businesses. You won’t need to do this for future upgrades.
And don’t worry, all of your settings will have been saved.
That does bring up one point: the settings and transfer table pages are no longer located in a WooCommerce Settings tab. Instead, hover over WooCommerce to expand the submenu, then click Stripe Connect Split Pay:
Here you should find all of your existing settings and previous transfers.
If you need any assistance with the upgrade, send us a note and we’ll be happy to help!
